What Happens When You Stick With It

Most People Quit. But not Jason Wells. In February of 2014, Jason was on the How to Quit Working show and explained his transition from working a factory job to launching his career as a full-time musician. Jason is back to give an update and tell us what happens after another year of persistence.

About Jason:

Jason Wells walked away from the security of an hourly job to pursue a music career. Many have called him crazy, but Jason realized that you only have one life to live and he wants to make a difference with his life. In 2008 when the economy went bad and everyone was loosing there jobs, Jason didn’t escape the trouble. He was laid off work for a year and a half and turned that opportunity into his chance to start his music career. A year and a half later Jason had the chance to go back to work, and he caved in to the pressure of what seemed sensible. But four months later, Jason father passed away from cancer. This was the moment he realized that he was in the wrong place. Many thought he was not handling the loss very well but to Jason, it was fuel to the fire to start living.

Jason had his Debut CD out in 2010, “Stepping Out” which was an acoustic album named after his crazy step out into the full-time music career. His song “Cancer” was an emotionally charged song touching on the effects of cancer and honest emotions it brings dealing with this terrible disease. His song “Right Back Where I’ve Been” is a down right grooving tune.

Jason’s next CD “Inside” is packed full of electric guitar riff driven rock and roll. Recorded with some of the best musicians around, which Jason hand picked. The songs in this CD all have very significant meaning and deal with issues that Jason and many other people deal with in this crazy life. Many songs from Inside dealt with very personal issues, but it was important to get them recorded, it was almost like medicine.
Now it’s time to get to some Rock N Roll! “The Modern Vintage Movement” is a rock album! Everywhere you look you see vintage repackaged into the modern age. radios, cars, alarm clocks, clothes…you name it, look around you will see the modern vintage movement. Jason’s CD is classic rock and classic rock is coming back! If it’s not, it is now.
