Listen to the show here:
Jordan Pierson, an ice-cream fanatic since childhood, was doing advertising sales for the Food Network, when his buddy Gabe told him about an all natural, gluten-free alternative to ice cream he had invented so he could enjoy the flavor of ice cream despite his dairy alergy and having Celiac’s disease. Jordan knew he had to get involved with Wink Frozen Deserts. He shares his story on this episode of the How to Quit Working Show.
About Jordan Pierson:
Jordan Pierson, 28, grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. He had worked in construction, moving, and even at Cold Stone Creamery before graduating with a degree in Video Production. After 4 years at the Food Network selling commercial time, fate would lead him to make friends with a young entrepreneur with a big idea. Today, Jordan is the head of marketing at the company they went on to start in 2012, Wink Frozen Desserts. It’s an ice cream alternative for individuals with diet restrictions preventing them from enjoying traditional dairy ice creams. He also works with several up and coming small businesses to help accelerate their growth.
