How taking complete and total responsibility allowed Alvin Woods to fulfill his dream.

Alvin Woods knew what he wanted. He wanted to be a leader and to shape pop-culture. Through lots of exploration, he figured out what that meant – he would open a branding and publicity agency. Fortunately, he had a strong work ethic instilled in him from a very young age which meant he gets up every single day and does exactly what he must do in order to be successful. On this episode of the How to Quit Working Show, Alvin tells us how a little boy from Louisiana grew up to be a successful entrepreneur.

About Alvin

Brand Strategist and Publicist, Alvin J. Woods is a millennial generation business owner based in New York City. Woods knows media, loves pop culture, and understands the importance of targeted branding. As the CEO of The Media Model – a boutique Public Relations and Branding agency – he has quickly become a leading strategic voice within the communication industry, and continues to develop an impressive business portfolio of regional, national, and international campaigns for a wide variety of clients.

Since then, his point of view and business savvy has secured coveted features as an expert and contributor on several media platforms including; U.S. News & World Report, Yahoo! Finance, HuffPost Live, Success Magazine, and national daytime talk show “The Chew” on ABCnetwork, among others.

Woods’ agency, The Media Model, focuses on the following disciplines: Fashion, Entertainment, Consumer Packaged Goods, Lifestyle, Business, Luxury Products, Tech, and Philanthropy, along with Books & Toys. A snapshot of media that he has secured for clients include: E!
