Like attracts like and Marc Renson likes food, music, and Hollywood.
Enthralled with the entertainment world since he was a young child, Renson has loved the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Marc felt stifled and beat down from the higher-up corporate management team and on opening day, January 18, 2000 working for the corporate food service giants, Sodexho, the university opened its doors to 30,000 hungry students and Renson resigned on the spot, that day as their Food Production Manager from that world at 29 years old and began to follow his passion for self employment and had never looked back!
Renson has since carved out a world all of his own. Inside his small bistro in upstate NY. Marc not only feeds the residents of Schenectady but, well you guessed it…Hollywood too!
Inviting in A-list celebrities, musicians, comedians, magicians, as well as national Broadway touring shows. Renson welcomes them all into his restaurant Ambition Coffee & Eatery. As Marc says, “Welcome to my world, welcome to my ambition!”
Marc is a graduate of SUNY Schenectady with a degree in culinary arts. Author of the book about his restaurant, Is The Coffee Fresh? Drama dysfunction and daily life at a downtown coffeehouse.
Marc’s been featured on CNN, The Dr Oz Show, broadwayworld.com, and You Tubed by Skinny Girl NY Times best Selling Author Bethenny Frankel.
