Born and raised in South Florida, Shai Barel has been an entrepreneur from a very young age. At the age of 13 he started a small business in online video games. The skills and experience he gained from this propelled him to be involved in many smaller ventures and ideas. While in college at the Sy Syms School of Business he started an electronic cigarette business that he eventually sold. All the while he was interning at Merrill Lynch and was on the school soccer team.
After graduating he worked for WeWork and became a founding member of HopeBook, an organization dedicated to helping youth with cancer. He is now a managing partner at Clutch Maven.
His most valuable assets have been his creativity, drive and limitless energy. His advice to new entrepreneurs would be to stay grounded and to never give up.
