Listen to the interview here:
Debbie Travis enjoyed painting her house in unique ways, things like faux marble and tuscan wall affects. When she met people, they would ask her to paint their houses. Before she knew it, she had a business. Which really came in handy when her husband’s company went under and she found her family with no money, but a big mortgage and lots of bills. Then she made a video (on VHS, folks!) to teach people how to do the painting techniques. Next came trade shows, a book and eventually TV. Debbie is a huge inspiration to entrepreneurs and on this episode of the How to Quit Working Show, she reveals how to turn your hobbies into a business.
